The Luna Brothers are back! After my beloved Ultra: Seven Days, and the weird but fun Girls (which I still haven't finished), Josh and Jonathan bring us The Sword, yet another creation of theirs. There are a few issues out on the shelves of your favorite comic book store already, but Newsarama has put up the first issue on their site for free for everyone to enjoy. I just read it, and I liked it. The artwork looks like it usually does (competent and little else), but it seems there has been more attention to detail and backgrounds. And the dialogue, which is usually my favorite part in the Lunas' work, is really good. This new series looks intriguing and quite different from their previous work, so I'll probably get it when it comes out on trade. It's a good thing I can be very patient!

Free Sword

Los Hermanos Luna se salen. Ya comenté yo también por aquí que sus ilustraciones no me vuelven loco, pero cumplen su cometido. Que es servir de vehículo para historias geniales y personajes inolvidables.
Por lo leído, The Sword no es una excepción. A ver si me hago algún día con el TPB.
Sale este año, al parecer. Yo los que me tengo que comprar son los dos últimos de Girls, a ver si termino la serie de una vez. Y es que soy un dejado...
¿Cuántos tomos eran? ¿Tres? ¿Cuatro?
Yo no creo que me los compre en el futuro cercano, porque ya hice en Diciembre una última compra librística que me mantendrá ocupado durante todo el año. Y además hay que ahorrar. Uno o dos tomos me podría permitir, pero más de eso, pues ahora mismo no. :(
Son cuatro, aunque también han sacado una edición gigante con toda la serie completa. Pero bueno: ya veo que tienes material de lectura de sobra :)
Pues sí. Tengo casi para todo el año, como ya he dicho. Y eso si no bajo en mi ritmo lector, que tampoco sería muy raro.
