Bruja mala nunca muere

Guardian Hood

Here you have a picture I drew of Guardian, one of our dogs. My fiancee and I had been talking about entering him in a Halloween costume contest dressed as Robin Hood, and so I thought it would be fun to draw him in those clothes.

I drew the picture in pencil first, and then I used Prisma markers and Copic markers to color it. After that, I inked it with my technical pens, and proceeded to show it to my fiancee, who loved it. I really like how it turned out, so I hope you guys dig it as well!

Aquasilva

Online Equines

Here you have a picture I made for my fiancee's birthday a few weeks ago. We usually joke about what the animals at the farm do in their spare time, and how they all have Facebook pages they constantly check. We had specifically talked about one of the horses, Noah, doing so, which made me think it would be really funny to draw him doing just that. You can see some of his friends from the farm on his page: Petunia the pig, Pippa (my favorite horse), and India, the psychic horse you have already met.

One I had drawn and inked the picture, I broke out my watercolors and finished the piece. My fiancee loved how it turned out, and I hope you guys like it too!

Malevolent Spiders

Spiders creep me out, there's no two ways about it. The thought of them sneakily crawling over me makes me shiver, and I try to stay away from them as much as possible. As if this was some kind of "face your fears" therapy, I am exposed to spiders at the farm on a regular basis. We're not talking about cellar spiders here, though; we're talking about big-ass spiders that look deadly violently poisonous. To wit, consider the spider accompanying this post. My girlfriend took this picture, and for the uninitiated, I'll tell you this is a black and yellow garden spider of the Argiope type, if I'm not mistaken. It is not poisonous to humans, but just look at that thing and tell me it doesn't look like your worst nightmare come true. Right now, we have three of those (that I've spotted) in the barn. One of them is smaller (but getting bigger and bigger every day), and the other one is about as big as the one featured above. Like I said, I know they're not poisonous, but every time I have to walk underneath their spider web, the thought of them dropping on my head makes me want to run away. Perhaps I am being irrational (my girlfriend thinks they are benevolent, not malevolent), but just look at those horrible monsters and tell me if you wouldn't scream like a little girl if one of those landed on your neck. Yeah, that's what I thought.
