Let's talk about movies again. I was reading Entertainment Weekly when I came across a little feature with the 100 top grossing movies of last year. It turns out I went to see 25 of those, which means I only helped a quarter of those movies make all that money. (Incidentally, I went to see both #1, Pirates of the Caribbean 2, and #100, The Descent.)
I'm only showing you the top 16 because otherwise I'd have to scan two pages instead of one. Also, I got my best average there, since I went to see 10 out of those 16. Check out the differences between US box office and Rest of the World grossing (the asterisk means the movie is still showing). I think a couple of cases (The Da Vinci Code and Ice Age 2, for instance) are interesting because of the incredible gap. Enjoy!

Dammit! You did it again!
And then you're complaining about how hard is to keep up with the daily posty rhythm. You whimpering baby...
BTW, I've only seen two movies appearing on that list; Pirates 2 and Click. Now that I think of it, those two movies are the only ones I saw last year on the big screen! Maybe it's time for me to go berserk and leave behind my cinebacy. That's if my work hours (from 15:00 to 23:00, almost daily) permit me to do so. You all out there, pray for me.
Hahaha. As I said, I won't do it tomorrow. You'll be able to post as many entries as your little heart desires :)
You guys are having a hard time with "the rhythm method," aren't you? Everyone knows that it's not infallible!
P.S. It looks like I've seen one of the sixteen top movies. And was (kind of) dragged to it. That's not to say I wouldn't be interested in seeing any more of them, just that writing about film leaves you with little urge to see much more (sometimes).
That sounds bad. I love movies, really. I think I'm just ready to graduate, that's all.
Hahaha. What an insightful comment... But I'm curious now. Which movie did you see? Pirates 2? I wanna say it's that one, but I don't remember exactly. I would say you could do worse than that, but knowing your taste in movies, I guess you could not ;)
And I'll have to ask Hal to change methods...
Yes finn you are oh so right! It was the POTC (somehow I don't think acronyms look as natural in my writing) middle installment that I (guilty as charged) made Lori watch. In my defence, I'll say that I chose that film partly because I thought that she had liked the first one and that she might be interested in seeing how things were going to go for Sparrow y sus muchachos.
The other part is that I actually wanted to see it (mainly because I liked the first one and wanted to see how things were... yadda yadda yadda)
I'll stop here, because I don't want to have to talk about The Piano...
De todas esas pelis solo en visto la de X-men 3. Como se nota quien tiene tiempo para ir al cine.
Hahaha...
Vaya, pues no lo he leído. Se agradecería un link, por favores...
A ver si lo encuentro...

Si mal no recuerdo, hasta hay un par de comentarios míos de esos que no aportan absolutamente nada ;)
Parece que ha pasado algo raro con los links, así que ahí van de nuevo:
