I finally got to watch The Orphanage, and while it was not what I was expecting, I enjoyed it, which is good because I actually bought it without having seen it first. The pace of the movie is really slow (it reminded me of another Spanish spooky movie, The Others), but I was never bored or restless. I thought the acting was good (competent, at least), and the ending caught me by surprise and left me a bit puzzled. (It's a good thing my girlfriend was there to explain it to me!) The scene with Geraldine Chaplin might have been my favorite in the movie, seeing as it was psychological horror of the creepiest variety, but there were several other very effective scenes that balanced eeriness and tension rather well. All in all, watching this film was a pleasant experience, and I recommend you check it out!

Spanish Scares
I finally got to watch The Orphanage, and while it was not what I was expecting, I enjoyed it, which is good because I actually bought it without having seen it first. Vi El orfanato hará cosa de un año, quizá más, y no tengo ningún comentario para ella, aparte de un "meh". Creo que me pareció una película tirando a decente, y de poco más me acuerdo. Ni siquiera recuerdo la escena de Geraldine Chaplin, por buena que haya sido.
En cuanto al final... no, tampoco me acuerdo de qué pasaba. En mi caso catalogué inmediatamente la película entre las "entretenidas, pero rápidamente olvidables".
Paso de ir al cine a ver peli de terror o dramas para sufrir ya estan los telediarios y si quiero sufrir mucho veo el debate del estado de la nación.

Como dije en el post, me negañaron, el plan era ver al amigo Holmes. Pero despues de ver semejante dramon me reafirmo con más fuerza en mi postura que al cine se va a pasar bien no a sufrir.
Di que sí, Nash. Cuando se va al cine en pareja hay que alcanzar un consenso. Ni dramones, ni películas de Chuck Norris.

Peliculas de acción donde lo primoldial son las patadas espectaculares con perseciones, alguna tia buena que enseñe algo y sin ningun tipo de trama.
Seguro que has visto alguna de esas.
No digo que las desconozca, sino que cómo que están prohibidas.
Es normal que si no quieres que te obliguen a ver dramones que les gusntan a las mujeres nosotros no las obliguemos a ver pelis "de tiros" que no les gustan a ellas, normalmente, algunos tienen suerte y estan con mujeres que si que tienen buen gusto.
