I’m Sold

This picture just did it: I will go see The Spirit on December 25. Never mind that the movie is based on Will Eisner's comic book. Never mind living legend Frank Miller is writing and directing the adaptation. Never mind the hype. I will go see this movie because of this picture. Words can’t do justice to her beauty, so I’ll stop typing.

Last night we went to the movies (post forthcoming on one of our blogs fo' sho), and during the previews, I was thinking, "Hmm... I think Mario would like this." Then Ms. J appeared, full-lipped, full-bosomed, and stunning as usual, and any doubt that I might have harbored evaporated.

Hahahaha. Was the preview for The Spirit? I know she's also starring in Woody Allen's new movie, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, which opens next month. Yet another date with her...

But I swear, it's even hard to think (let alone articulate any thoughts) when staring at pictures such as the one accompanying my post. Ryan Reynolds is a lucky guy...

Sweet Mother of God!!!

Are you sure that's not a still of a porn movie or something?

Are you even sure all of... that... is rightfully hers?

Yeah, it was the preview for The Spirit.

And for Halagan... it's her glasses that impress you, right? Those cat-eye black rims really are shapely, I agree. :)

I would like to point out the fact that Paz Vega is on the film... Yes, I know, probably not the biggest selling point. But what can I say, I have always had something for the sevillana, since 7 vidas (for the uninitiated, the very beginning of her major acting career).

But yes, SJ is.... well, I don't know what she is... but she must be something.

On another note. Have you guys seen the Watchmen trailer? I was also sold immediately (for completely different reasons, obviously)

Hmmm... I never knew about this Paz Vega thing.

The things one learns on blogs.

Hehehe. Paz Vega's kinda hot, it's true. Way much more than Penélope Cruz is, for all her fame.

And, yes Huitzi, I was talking precisely about those beautifully crafted glasses.

And the hat. Ohh, what a hat!

I knew it. Your expertise in haute couture is undeniable, Hal.

Well, you guys may or may not believe this, but my favorite part of this picture is actually her face. Don't get me wrong: her boobs are fantastic, but her face looks spectacularly gorgeous: her eye, her beautiful hair, her lips... And those damned sexy glasses. I've always had the theory that cute girls look even prettier with glasses. I rest my case.

Regarding Paz Vega, yeah, I knew she is in the movie, and even though yeah, I think she's cute (way prettier than Penelope Cruz, I agree), I like Jamie King better. And yes: she's in the movie as well, that's why I'm bringing her up.

Regarding Watchmen, I saw the trailer yesterday, and it's going to be tomorrow's post. As a matter of fact, it was going to be today's, but then I came across that picture of Scarlett. Tomorrow, though...

Donde estén un par de tetas que se quiten cien bonitas caras (halaaaaa que machista me ha quedado, y que superficial...)

yeah, sort of like that post of yours dedicated exclusively to Javier Bardem.

Ayyyy, que divertido es tirar de hemeroteca

Perhaps so, Alberto dear, but I was merely commenting on the surprise factor. I didn't remember ever having heard you comment on the lovely Ms. Vega (and lovely she is). Javier and I, however, (yes, we are on a first-name basis) are a longstanding item, with the (not entirely) spiritual connection that I mentioned in the post you cited.

Thanks for bumping that photo back to the present.

Machista, superficial... y completamente cierto, recaredo.

Mario Alba said...

Es fácil: sólo hay que tener presentes las cosas verdaderamente importantes, i.e., lo buena que está Scarlett Johansson ;)

Que equivocado esta finn, no esta nada buena es bastante normalita, tirando a fea.
