It shouldn’t surprise anyone when I say this month’s issue was terrific. Ron Marz begins a new story arc with Witchblade #119, and it seems like the events in this issue will have long-lasting consequences. The way the book is written is clever, and the dialogue between Sara and the IAB guy is snappy and great fun to read. As for the events themselves, suffice it to say that we see somebody we thought we hadn’t seen in a long time. My only complain is that somewhere in the comic book it says the story continues in The Darkness, and I don’t want to buy that series to follow what’s going on. Hopefully, it won’t be necessary.As for the visuals, Stjepan Sejic outdoes himself, and the illustrations of Sara wearing the witchblade are eerie and beautiful at the same time. Also, I really enjoyed the way he depicted the “warrior using the cloaking device”, and how he illustrated said character, once its identity was revealed.
So there you have it. Witchblade keeps rocking, and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be reading this book.

Creo que no he entendido naaada de lo que has dicho, Fel. Quiero decir, que las palabras tenían sentido, pero cuando me he parado a pensar al finalizar el post, no me acordaba de nada.
Por supuesto, la culpa de todo la tiene que nunca haya leído Witchblade. Y, ejem, me da que ya sé lo que me vas a decir sobre eso... ;)
Hehehe. Pues eso: que no tienes excusa.
Con respecto al post en sí, he sido vago a propósito, pues no quiero estropear nada. Claro que, quien haya leído el número anterior (la última página del número anterior, para más señas) sabrá de quién estoy hablando. O creerá saberlo, hehehe.
