I finally got to watch Into the Wild Green Yonder, what is supposed to be the last Futurama movie. (In theory, at least, since they are apparently having talks about bringing the show back again in some way, shape or form.) I was ready to thoroughly enjoy it, but it left me a bit indifferent. There are plenty of jokes and great lines, but I didn't find the overall story exactly compelling. I don't know, maybe I was expecting more from what could be the last time we see the Planet Express crew, but the mind readers and the Vegas casinos and the miniature golf plots were all kind of… well, not so good.
Still, the movie made me laugh, and some jokes (like the leech, for instance) are truly priceless, but I think this might be my least favorite of the four, with Bender's Game being the best one and Bender's Big Score the second best. But if you are a fan of the show, you will most definitely enjoy the film. Just don't expect it to blow your mind, because it won't.
Here's to hoping we get to see more adventures of the Planet Express crew in the future. Wouldn't it be great if they announced just that at this year's San Diego Comic Con? Hmmm… There's a thought...

Pues vaya.
