The intense thriller Eagle Eye opened last Friday, and I went to the Rave just so you, dear readers, could know if Shia LaBeouf's latest movie is worth seeing. And the answer is yes --but.The highly-in-demand actor stars alongside the impossibly cute Michelle Monaghan in this modern day thriller in which technology is a dangerous way to trace your every step and to get you into more trouble than you could ever imagine. But seeing the main characters go through this mad run, trying to survive and trying to escape from the delicate situations they find themselves in is a lot of fun. Everything is nicely choreographed, and everything works just like clockwork --if, that is, you manage to suspend your disbelief. There are several "why would they do that" moments throughout the film, and the use of technology to achieve certain ends also requires some creative stretching of plausibility. If you decide to believe it, though, the movie is terrific fun, a fast-paced film full of conflict, action, and over the top risks and danger. If, on the other hand, you can't buy the premise, then you'll find yourself wondering what could have possessed you to buy a ticket for this movie. In spite of a couple of obscenely trite ideas, I enjoyed it though, and therefore I recommend it. Besides, Michelle Monaghan is really, really cute. Really.

Así en un principio me suena bastante a Enemy of the State meets I, Robot.
Creo que me hago una idea de cual es exactamente el problema que le encuentras a la película, Fel, pero mira a ver si nos podrías poner un ejemplo o algo. Nada que sea spoilerítico, por supuesto.
No sabes la razón que tienes al compararlo con precisamente esas dos películas, Halagan.
El problema con Eagle Eye, aparte de los topicazos, es que, mientras ves la película, dices bueno, vale: la acción te atrapa y te dejas llevar (más o menos); pero una vez te paras a pensar (no te han dado tiempo antes), te planteas cosas como: ¿por qué cogen el teléfono? ¿Por qué confía (o no confía) en este personaje? ¿Por qué el malo hace las cosas así, cuando sería más fácil y menos arriesgado hacerlas de esta otra forma? ¿A quién se creen que engañan cuando dicen o hacen esto?
En resumen: la película es entretenida, pero no aguanta un análisis mínimamente detallado. Y no digas Next que te veo venir ;)
Jejeje. Pues no lo diré, pero es que esa gran epopeya hecha película por Nic Cage me marcó. Sobre todo cuando en no sé qué foros vi que la gente la ponía por las nubes. ¡Y especialmente su guión!
En fin...
Desgraciadamente, hoy día la cartelera suele estar llena de películas como EE. Esto es, como bien dices, entretenidas, pero que no aguantan un análisis mínimamente detallado. :(
