Since the third installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean saga airs today in the USA, and Fel is reviewing it tomorrow in the way of a very much expected spoiler-free post, it just feels right today to talk about the other Bruckheimer/Disney most famous franchise.
National Treasure: Book of Secrets will air on December this year, and its spectacular teaser trailer can be seen right now on the net. The original National Treasure was, if not an excellent movie, at least good enough for me. So I’m definitely going to see this sequel, and now that I know a little bit more about it, more than ever.
The thing is, NT: Book of Secrets has it all to fully surpass its predecessor. The original cast is back again, and, beside all those old faces, this time we’ll also be able to enjoy the acting skills of venerated masters such as Harvey Keitel, Ed Harris and Helen Mirren. Only because of that, if I were you I would take a look at it. And if that isn’t enough guarantee, there's one more thing: this time the screenplay has been written by Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio. Yes, yes, the two screenwriters behind the Zorro franchise, the first Shrek and, again, those Pirates movies.

Hehehe. Ha sido en Pirates 3 donde he visto el tráiler de Book of Secrets por primera vez. No sé yo cómo estará, pero dado que la primera me encantó, iré a ver esta en diciembre cuando la estrenen.
Si mis horarios laborales no me lo impiden, yo también iré a verla al cine. La última vez que fui fue a ver una de la Biel cuyo título ni recuerdo ahora mismo. Y porque me regalaron las invitaciones y coincidió que la echaban un día que descansaba. Antes de esa, Flags of our Fathers. Menuda experiencia.
¿Una peli de la Biel? ¿Cuál? ¿Next, de la que hablé en el blog? ¿Una de la guerra de Irak en la que hace de soldado, cuyo nombre tampoco recuerdo? Mejor harías yendo a ver Spiderman 3 :)
Ésa es. La de la guerra de Irak de nombre escurridizo. De hecho, creo que no lo recuerdo porque al menos en castellano tiene un nombre tipicazo en plan "Días de Guerra" o "Recuerdos de Armas".
En fin, antes era Pirates 3, hands down, pero ahora cada vez tengo más dudas sobre qué ir a ver al cine. ¿POTC3? ¿Spidey 3? También tengo ganas de meterme a ver Zodiac. O, incluso, aún podría ver 300.
No he visto Zodiac (ni yo ni nadie, pues la peli pasó con más pena que gloria), pero 300 es MUY recomendable. Y pese a lo que diga la gente, Spidey 3 está pero que muy bien.
