Summer is almost here, especially when studios start the blockbuster season the first weekend of May. So far, I haven't been impressed with any movie I've seen this year, but I'm hoping that will change starting next month. What movies are you looking forward to seeing? What movies are going to be beyond amazing? Well, these are the ones I am most excited about:May
May 2: Iron Man
I've never cared too much for the character, but I love Robert Downey, Jr., and the preview looks amazing. We'll see what happens.
May 22: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
It could be an instant classic or a horrible disappointment. After all, we've waited for nineteen years to see this movie happening. Will it be good? Only a month to find out!
June
June 20: Get Smart
The movie version of the old TV show, the preview is hilarious, and Steve Carell looks perfect for the part. Hopefully, it will make me laugh harder than 88 Minutes and on purpose!
June 27: Wall·e
The new Pixar movie looks strange and fascinating at the same time. Will it be good? Well, it's a Pixar movie. 'Nuff said!
June 27: Wanted
I'm actually not sure this one’s going to be so great. The preview looks intriguing and with ridiculously intense action sequences. Also, it's based on a comic book I've never read. Maybe it's time I do so.
July
July 2: Hancock
Will Smith and superheroes? Well, it could be interesting, especially because it’s written by my favorite X-Files scribe, Vince Gilligan. Besides, who doesn't love Will Smith? That's what I thought.
July 11: Hellboy II: The Golden Army
Another comic book movie. I didn't like the first movie all that much, and I've barely read any of the Hellboy comic books. And still, it looks interesting, despite the fact it is directed by Guillermo del Toro.
July 18: The Dark Knight
The fourth comic book movie on this list, everybody is going to go see this movie, so there's really nothing else for me to say, other than "Why so serious?"
July 25: The X-Files: I Want to Believe
I just started watching season 8, so I'd better be done with the show in time for this movie!
August
August 1: The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
I know Halagan hates the Mummy movies, but I love them, and couldn't be more excited about this one. Besides, it’s written by the creators of my beloved Smallville!
August 15: Star Wars: The Clone Wars
The animation looks cool, and I really dig the style and character design. A shame the story is likely to stink. And still...

Night Shyamalan's The Happening (June 13), The Incredible Hulk (June 13), Space Chimps (July 18), James Franco's Pineapple Express (August 8), Ben Stiller's Tropic Thunder (August 15), Nicolas Cage's Bangkok Dangerous (August 22), and Vin Diesel's Babylon A.D. Tengo ganas de ver iron man y la nueva de batman tienen bastante buena pinta, ya veremos que sale de esa. Hell boy no me termino de entusiamar asi que creo que sera carne de descarga. Indi esta claro que ire al cine y la nueva de pixar no me llama casi nada.
A mí tampoco acabó de convencerme Hellboy, así que ya veremos. Y en un mes, tenemos Indiana!
A mi me parecía una monada Hellboy de bebe... que le vamos hacer, soy una ñoña.
Indiana yuhú! Ya sé que no es bueno crearse expectativas, pero soy incapaz de no entusiasmarme con el día 22 de Mayo!

Yo estoy pensando algún cine al que ir... nada de aglomeraciones y eso. Aunque creo que va a ser bastante difícil.
Recuerdo que la última de Indy de 1989 fue la segunda película que veía en el cine...la primera fue E.T. :)

Batman y La última cruzada son las dos primeras que yo recuerdo haber visto en el cine, seguidas por Desafío total. Sé que hubo otras antes, pero sólo tengo vagos recuerdos. Estas tres son las primeras que recuerdo haber pedido insistentemente ir a ver :)
La verdad es que yo no estoy nada emocionado con la nueva Indy. Así que de momento sigo según lo planeado.
Por cierto, Antena 3, fiel a su eterna política "Aprovechémonos de las modas", va a dar las tres pelis originales de Indiana Jones. Las va a ver su p*%@ madre, por supuesto. Antes que tragarme anuncios, me pongo los DVDs.
Sobre las primeras películas que fuimos a ver al cine, yo recuerdo algunas pocas. Desde luego fui a ver tanto Batman como Last Crusade. Y hacia el mismo año, BTTF2.
Antes ya había visto La Leyenda del Llanero Solitario y Supergirl en sesión doble. Y, si no me falla la memoria, Spaceballs

Spaceball, es verdad! también la vi en el cine, y de Batman la verdad, es que no recuerdo.
Sé que mi madre me llevo a ver E.T. porque tengo un recuerdo de antes de entrar (que no de la película) y sobre la última cruzada no comí las palomitas de lo pegada que estaba a la pantalla. Es más, salí del cine recitando los diálogos que no se cómo me aprendí.
Me alegro que no estés emocionado Pablo,pero en parte... porque si vas a estar en plan estatua en el cine... no voy.ejem.

Como ya dije, tengo algún borroso recuerdo de estar en el cine antes de esas dos. Es posible que viera E.T. y Blancanieves, pero no puedo asegurarlo. Y de Spaceballs mejor no digo nada...
