My Witchblade reviews are back! And yes, I know they actually never went away, but it's been a really long time since I last tried to force this series down your throats. After the amazing, action-packed issue #119, writer Ron Marz and artist Stjepan Sejic deliver another phenomenal book that couldn't really be any more different than the previous chapter. Where #119 was fast-paced and adrenalyne-driven, #120 is pretty much a long conversation between Sara and Dani, but don't let this statement fool you. Marz's dialogue is amazingly true to life and interesting, and Sejic renders both Sara and Dani in very unique and distinctive ways. They are different women, not just one multipurpose model with different hair and clothes. Plus, the backgrounds are great and the lighting of the scenes moody and very effective. So guess what I'm going to say next! Exactly. This issue is, as usual, great, and everyone out there should be reading Witchblade. Really.

Witchblade #120

Pues no sé el cómic en sí, pero la ilustración que acompaña al post es simplemente espectacular. Como sean también así las páginas interiores, alguien se merece un monumento.
La portada es de Stjepan Sejic, el artista croata que, desde hace varios gloriosos meses, no sólo ilustra las portadas, sino que se curra todas y cada una de las páginas interiores del cómic. Si te gusta la portada, por dentro es todo así. TODO! Y si encima le añades los fantásticos guiones de Ron Marz, el resultado es (como no sé si ya he dicho en alguna ocasión) un cómic estupendísimo!
Impresionante la partoda y si dibuja con la misma calidad las paginas interiores es realmente brutal. Ya sabes que meter en la maleta cuando vengas a Hispania.
Llevo meses diciéndolo: Witchblade es estupenda. Así que menos esperar a que vaya a España, y más comprar la serie y apoyar a los creadores :)
Soy pobre :-( y los comics son muy caros. Ademas ya tengo bastante con un hoby.

Supongo que tendré que darle una oportunidad a Witchblade, Fel, aunque sólo sea por lo pesado que estás desde... bueno, casi desde que te conozco.
Claro que de repente, sin comerlo ni beberlo, se ha cruzado en mi camino otra miniserie en cómic que tendré que degustar. Digo yo. ;)
Hahahaha. Digo yo que tendrás que hacerlo, sí. Y hablando de cruzarse, atento al próximo paso de cebra, que está a la vuelta de la esquina ;)
