Sunshine Cleaning is an offbeat movie that tells the story of two struggling sisters, Rose (played by gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous Amy Adams) and Nora (Emily Blunt), and how they start a crime-scene cleaning service after giving up on their crappy jobs. Sounds dark but strangely humorous? Well, so is the movie.I went to see it because I thought the premise was funny, and because I love Amy Adams. It really was all I could do not to drool when she was onscreen, which was most of the time, seeing as she’s the main character. And yes, the movie had some laugh-out-loud moments, but it was mostly a drama. Still, I think the best part was the performances, since both Adams and Blunt knock it out of the park. (And let’s not forget Alan Arkin’s great supporting role as their always-scheming dad.)
To sum it up, Sunshine Cleaning was cute and fun, but also dark and sad, so keep that in mind before checking it out. And once you do it, of course, let us know what you think!

Interesante premisa, si señor.
En cuanto a la belleza actricil, no es para despreciar a Emily Blunt, desde luego. Pero coincido plenamente en lo que respecta a Amy Adams. Tuve que consultar IMDb para saber de quien estabas hablando, y no es que haya visto muchas de sus peliculas. Al parecer salio en Buffy, pero yo no la recuerdo.
Donde si que la recuerdo, though, es en Catch Me If You Can. Y poco puedo decir aparte de:
Oh... My... God!
Hehehe. Había olvidado que sale en Catch Me if You Can, y de Buffy o no me acordaba o no lo sabía. Su breakthrough movie fue Junebug, y en los últimos tres o cuatro años ha sido nomidada al Oscar como actriz secundaria dos veces, así que poco a poco se está haciendo un nombre. Supongo que ahora estará empezando a desear no haber participado en Cruel Intentions 2, hahaha.
Leyendo ayer sobre ella, descubri que CI2 era en realidad una serie basada en la pelicula protagonizada por la Gellar. Grabaron como tres episodios, dieron marcha atras por la razon que sea, y despues reeditaron los tres episodios en forma de pelicula. De ahi salio el citado esperpento que dudo que vaya a ver nunca. Si aun no he visto ni la primera...
Qué interesante. No sabía que así es como se había gestado CI2, de la que sólo he visto la famosa escena de la ducha, hehehe.
