With really cool art by Joe Benitez, the story is entertaining enough to keep you wanting more. I'm still waiting to see if they explain why when Melanie gets the powers of Wraithborn, her underdeveloped teenage anatomy suddenly blossoms... Maybe she gets taller and stronger, just like good old Fairchild in Gen13? At any rate, and despite my stupid remarks, it's really worth checking out.

Your short review is far more kind than mine. Yes, my focus seems a bit off, but there are some things that remain true.
It has a slightly "gothy" feel to it.
There are scantily clad ladies around for no good reason.
There is senseless violence.
Overall I don't get it. This title I don't think will last long. It is too senseless.
Still I recommended it. Just because. It's not a good book.
And don't let our main character blow u... err I mean transform like Fairchild. Eww. Fairchild doesn't deserve this comparison.
I gotta say that after sticking to the book for this long, I'm kind of waiting for it to be over. I guess it'd make a better read on TPB. Oh, well...
