I just finished reading The Plucker, a very entertaining dark fantasy by the famous artist Brom. The story is about Jack, a jack-in-the-box that has to spring forward and save his owner from an evil spirit that kills toys and feeds on their essence.
At 140 pages, the story is a short read, but the artwork is very detailed, and it shows the artist cared for every single drawing and painting in the book. While I would not urge you to read it, you could definitely do worse than checking it out.

Pues eso, que te odio, siempre recomendando cosas mayormente apetecibles. No conozco al tal Brom, al menos de nombre. Y dado que no se te puede seguir el ritmo, ya veremos si algún día puedo leerme The Plucker, o, en líneas generales, leerme algo antes de que lo hagas tú. Qué tiempos aquellos, en que estuve a punto de alcanzarte en la enjó (bueno, a dos o tres libros creo que llegué a estar). Y tú aprovechando el tiempo y yo que aún ni me he acabado esa saga. Mierda de trabajo.
Hahaha. Ah, recuerdo cuando terminé la Enjó, allá por diciembre de 2003... Pero bueno.
Brom es conocido por sus portadas para libros de fantasía, recientemente la serie War of the Spider Queen, que, como bien sabes, también me he leído (son sólo seis libros).
The Plucker está bien, pero no es ninguna maravilla. Entretenido, y con ilustraciones muy chulas. Y me lo compré porque en Amazon lo tenían saldado, pues cuando lo vi en Barnes & Noble, pasé de gastarme el precio de portada (o de contraportada, para ser exactos).
